Christine Walker

Brighton Festival is held during May each year, and up to this year the Festival Fringe events included 13 art trails and over 125 houses open to the public, exhibiting the work of artists in the area. This year, the artists have united to form "Artists Open Houses", the biggest independent Art Festival in the UK. Christine Walker opens her garden to the public as part of the "Hartington Trail", where 5 mosaic artists will be showing their work. Each artist has a different approach to mosaic, and pieces shown will include tree jewellery, hanging pot holders, mosaic busts and traditional and modern garden and conservatory furniture and wall hangings. The small workshop will be open and will provide an opportunity to see work in progress and discuss commissions.
